LIMA No. 2 - Hospital and a new pair of glasses

Accommodation
Our Airbnb accommodation in Magdalena del Mar cost 23.59 Euros for two nights. Because we liked it so much and Pascal had to recover from his hospital stay, we extended for another night. Breakfast was also included, which is rather unusual for Airbnb. Tea, coffee, rolls and cheese were available.
Attractions
We saw the Auna clinic from the inside, which was almost like an attraction ;) Super chic and modern with great coffee machines. In addition, a nice lady was assigned to us to simplify communication in English.
Transportation
As usual, we traveled around with Yango.
Food and drink
At "Chifa Fon Wa“, we ate very stressed "Airport“, so rice with sprouts and noodles and omelette with vegetables. And why was it all so stressful? We had our laundry in the Autoservicio laundry while we were eating and had to move it from the washing machine to the dryer. Only strangely, the timer of the washing machine did not work properly and I jogged there for nothing the first time… Then, in the "Pueblo Libre“ district, there were our two favorite bakeries "Il Panittiere", which is popular in the afternoon and right opposite "Panadería el buen pan del día“. Here there is an absolutely delicious pastry with puff pastry and cheese filling. Super tasty, but unfortunately only available from 15:00 ;) So to speak, a 3pm treat. In two bakeries "Sol de Paiján“ and "Pasteleria Kimberly“ we then ate croissants, quiche with chard and asparagus, cheesecake, cookies,… Of course not all in one day ;) We also ate occasionally from street vendors.
Cafés and restaurants
- Chifa "Fon Wa“
- Panadería "Il Panittiere“
- Panadería "El buen pan del día“
- Pastelería "Sol de Paiján“
- Pastelería "Kimberly“
Expenses
In the eyeglasses district we bought a new pair of glasses (the old one had a crack in the plastic). These were ready within two hours, as the manufacturing factory is located directly in the eyeglasses district and there are short distances.
Laundry
We did our laundry at "Autoservivio“ of "Lavandería Yaku La Mar“ for 10 Soles per process. After we did the laundry, it turned out that you have to pay extra for drying. Thanks a lot for that.
Unsolved mysteries
Where did Pascal pick up his E. coli infection?
Bus to Huancayo
The night bus to Huancayo cost 185 Soles per person and took 8 hours. We were always quite satisfied with MovilBus and arrived very early. I first took a nap at the "Hotel JB“ (our accommodation booked through Airbnb), Pascal had to catch up on some work.
