Hey, I am Pascal.
Originally I come from a small town in franconia (germany), after a relatively short stay in eastern saxony (also german) I am now in search of the next hostel. I enoy my life with climbing and IT stuff (web projects currently preferred) like this little blog.
Since the end of 2023 I am not only in search of the next hostel in South America, but also in new and beautiful experiences with new people and maybe also a new perspective on live, other than the classical middle european one.

Hi there, I'm Anja, 22 years old and I come from the beautiful town of Spalt. It has delicious beer and beautiful hop gardens. In 2019, I moved to Zittau with Pascal to study "Ecology and Environmental Protection" at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The idea of going abroad after completing my BA in 2021/2022 was already maturing and after we hadn't talked about it for a long time, Pascal simply forgot about it. It just popped out of his head:D Well, sometime in February 2023, we drew up the first plan and the ball started rolling. I already knew that my five years of Spanish from school wouldn't be enough for the mumbling people from South America, but somehow there was so much to do before I left that I couldn't revise my vocabulary or grammar. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the whole thing with a happy face and am looking forward to the many experiences I will have there. Thanks to my family, I was able to move out of our apartment in Zittau. I am also grateful to have received so much support during the planning and also in the two weeks before departure. Our two kittens Malou and Johnny are now with them (unfortunately I had to abandon the plan to take them with me). The little ones will certainly get lots of cuddles, treats and affection when we are away, so thanks to Nina, mom and dad for looking after them!
